Bank Holiday classes and some upcoming events

August 25, 2026•3 min read

Happy Tuesday,

Its been a couple of weeks since my last newsletter so today is jam packed with info. Grab a cuppa and take the weight off your feet for 5 minutes and take the time to catch up on all things studio related.

Last week I took the week off to get some big jobs finished around the house and get it guest ready for our Member summer BBQ that took place on Sunday.

Thank you to everyone that came along. We had a fabulous turnout and the weather was beautiful.

There was food aplenty with everyone bringing something for the buffet (I forgot to take a picture before it got demolished). It was so lovely to see members from different classes mixing and making friends.

I’m hoping to make this an annual event and with any luck I’ll pick a weekend when less people are away!

Member Events

Sunday, September, 6th

Sunday, 6th September (just a couple of weeks away), we have our summer walk with pub lunch.

We’ve done this kind of event a couple of times in the past - one very wet and the other very hot. I’m hoping we’ll land somewhere in the middle this time.

The route is still to be confirmed but we will start at the studio at 11:00am, and walk a round trip of approx 5-8 miles with a stop for lunch either mid-walk or when we get back to Baldock.

Family, friends and dogs welcome.

The only cost is for your meal and any drinks on the day, but we do need to book in advance so please let us know if you plan to join us.

Future Member Event

Tuesday, 17th November

7:00pm

Agatha Christie’s Mousetrap at St Martin’s Theatre, London. 7pm

Dianne has secured 20 tickets in the stalls for this long running theatre favourite.

Tickets are £37.50 per person and as always you would need to make your own way to the theatre (however we can always join you up with others that are going so you’re not travelling alone).

Payment is required by 9th September for us to secure the price. Please click the button below to book your tickets.
