Yes don't fall off your chair, I've managed to get an email together for a Tuesday again at last!
I've had a busy week personally, last night I was awarded Entrepreneur of the month at my local EC meeting.
I was chosen to win because I have been selected as a finalist for the Business Woman of the Year category in the SME National Business Awards 2026 which is so exciting.
I get to go to a fancy awards ceremony in London in November to find out if I've been chosen by the judges as the winner 😬.
This last weekend saw the second cohort of The Hertfordshire School of Pilates take their first workshop, it makes me so proud to see this dream of mine coming together and I'm so excited about the future of both the school and my students.
No house stuff to update you on this week as I've not been here much, but we are settling in although still working our way through the boxes to find homes for everything.
Amber (my daughter), flew to Portugal with her boyfriend and his family yesterday, this is the first time she's been abroad without me so I'm feeling even more redundant as a mum!
Good job I've got lots to keep me busy while she's away this week 😁

Teresa Croxford has gained her Legend status for being with us since May 2023, she's got her name on the Legend board and wears her Legend T-shirt with pride.

August Member Event
Our August member event is soon to be upon us.
If you would like to join us for a wine tasting event. Much fun was had when we have run this in the past. We will do a similar format to last time with 8 wines to blind taste - 4 whites and 4 reds.
There will also be a prize for the person that correctly guesses the most correctly. (it's all just a bit of fun really).
Tickets just £12 per person - non-members welcome
Member Wendy Jeffs is again co-ordinating a foodbank for families that struggle over the school holidays as part of Letchworth Foodbank Trussel Trust initiative.
