Option 1 - You know in advance you will be away.
Your membership period is 28 days (generally starting on a Monday, but check when yours renews).
You can use your 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 membership credits as you wish within these 28 days.
So if you know you are going to be away between days 10 and 24 for example you can allocate your membership credits to be used somewhere between day 1-10 and 24-28.
Option 2 - You don't know in advance.
In this instance you can use any remaining membership credits between the first day you are available and day 28.
If you can't use them all up before day 28.
If with either of the above options you find you cannot use all the remaining membership credits up by day 28, you can wait until Magic day 29 when any remaining membership credits turn into Rollover Credits.
Rollover credits have an additional 14 days to be used from day 29 to day 42 (day 14 of your next membership period).
Rollover credits CANNOT be booked pre-emptively before day 29 as they are still membership credits until this day and the system will 'steal' membership credits to book leaving you with a deficit.
Warning! - Recurring booking in place? Read this.
If you have a recurring booking in place during the rollover period, you may want to cancel any booking(s) that are made with your Membership credit and RE-BOOK using a Rollover credit instead. (Simply select credit at the checkout rather than membership to do this). This way you will use up the credit type that will expire first.
Don't worry, we do have spares (they're kept under the sink in the kitchen area), just help yourself - leave it with your instructor at the end of class and we'll wash it - please don't take it home with you.
If you would rather, you can buy a branded studio towel from us in the store for £13.50 (they come in the studio pink, blue or green) - if you regularly forget, you may find it easier to leave this one your car or pilates bag so you always have it with you.
Just a reminder that the spaces directly outside the studio should be reserved for instructors, those with less mobility and late comers.
For ease of parking for daytime classes (before 6pm), please park in the Tesco 'Click and Collect' car park and walk through the industrial estate to the studio (a 2-minute walk). Watch this video
For evening classes (after 6pm) and weekends you can park in the main estate, our immediate neighbours are still open so don't park more than 3 deep from the studio door, all spaces on the left as you come in from London road are communal.
Please park respectfully of other members, and don't block anyone in without their permission! Watch this video for where to park at evenings & weekends.
Our classes always start and finish on time, so we will not wait for you to arrive. If the class has already started when you get here, please just slip in and find your mat with as little disruption as possible.
We know life happens and sometimes you can't help being late, however for practical reasons we cannot permit you to join a class if you are more than 15 minutes late.
To help you get the most from your sessions, please do your best to arrive ready to start at least 5 minutes before the start of class.
There are 15 minute gaps between our classes, if you're super early you may beat our instructors if there isn't a class before yours! (We aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before the class starts).
If there is a class before yours and you arrive before it finishes, please don't make too much noise (or chat loudly) as this can be heard in the studio and is disruptive to the relaxation at the end of the class.
Please wait in the reception area until the previous class has left the studio before going through.
Classes can be cancelled up to 12 hours before the class start time via the Momence app. The credit will be returned to your account and will be available for the rest of that 28 day period PLUS 14 days.
If you cancel with less than 12 hours notice you will forfeit the credit.
This will also happen if you decide to swap to zoom at the last minute - contact us via WhatsApp 01462 892 688 with AT LEAST 1 hours notice and we can do this for you with no penalty (providing there is not a waiting list for the studio class).
Yes, but...
More than 12 hours in advance - If you are making the change with more than 12 hours notice you can simply cancel your original class and rebook the Zoom session instead.
Less than 12 hours in advance - With less than 12 hours notice we will have to do it for you to prevent you losing a credit for late cancellation. Contact us via WhatsApp 01462 892 688 with AT LEAST 1 hours notice and we can swap your booking for you with no penalty (providing there is not a waiting list for the studio class).
We understand that situations arise that may mean you can't attend classes for a period of time. We allow members to pause their membership ONCE in any 12 month period.
28 days notice is required in writing to put this in place, and if taken within a contracted period, the amount of time paused will be added to the end of your contracted term.
We recommend where possible to spread any unused credits across the membership cycle and rollover period rather than going on pause. Depending on your circumstances it may be more appropriate to extend your credits instead of pausing. (Message us if you would like to discuss your options).
Membership may be paused for ONE membership cycle (28 days), free of charge. Any additional cycles will be charged at £15 on day 29 and every 28 days you are on hold.
A return date should be provided at the time of the request, however if you are unsure of the date you are able to return (in the instance of illness or injury), please give us as much notice as possible as soon as you know of your return date, so we can get your membership reactivated and get back to class as quickly as we can.
Depending on your contract term you cannot cancel your membership until the end of your agreement. Once you are out of your contracted period we require 28 days notice to cancel your membership.
Did you know you can pause your membership if you need a break for any reason? This may be a better option for you - details in the FAQ above.
When you come to the end of your commitment period (3 or 12 months), your membership becomes a rolling 28 day commitment. You do not need to sign up to another 12 months.
On a 3 - Months Commitment?
If you're coming to the end of your 3- month commitment you have two options;
1 - Stay at the same price on a rolling 28 day commitment or
2 - Extend your commitment to the remaining 9 months of the original 12 and drop your membership cost by £10.
We're so glad you asked! Our Legend Members are those that have been a member of the studio for 3 or more years.
Once you reach this amazing stage in your time, not only will you feel amazing at this achievement, and better in your body, you'll receive an 'I'm a Legend' T-shirt and your name on the Legend Board at the studio as well as a Legend Member Trophy sticker to go on your member certificate.
Some of our clients have been with us since Emma started teaching in 2013 - How long will you stay?
If you have chosen a membership with unlimited Zoom classes or if you choose to use one of your studio credits to attend via zoom, please ensure you have booked onto the class no later than 20 minutes prior to the class start time.
If we have no zoom participants booked at this time the instructor will not set up the equipment and you will not be able to attend.
We do ask that you have basic equipment available to enable you to participate in the class fully.
The minimum requirements are a block, small inflatable ball, and a band.
Some exercises may need you to have head support so a small cushion/pillow or a towel will work.
Hand weights are also used occasionally but tins of food can provide a simple alternative.

We ask that for the consideration of other class participants, if you have background noise at your end, please mute yourself, the instructor may mute you if they find it is distracting other members.
It is important that your instructor can see you in the camera, ideally at a side on view. If possible without a light source (i.e. a window behind you) as this can make it difficult to see you clearly.
Please allow yourself plenty of time to log in as we know technology can be temperamental.
We will endeavour to have the zoom link open from no later than 10 minutes prior to the class start time.
If you have not received the link for your class via email (it will come in your confirmation email from Momence and again 30 minutes before the class starts) You can also join the class directly from your Momence profile page.
If you are out of your membership commitment you may cancel your membership at anytime with 28 days notice. Please complete this form to request to cancel. (Did you know that you have the option to pause your membership instead of cancelling? Complete the same form to request to cancel).
